We have been giving scholarship for local students in primary schools to continue their education as well as contributing school stationeries, books, uniforms and other supporting equipments to support their education facilities.
We understand that in the globalization era, being able to speak English fluently is becoming more and more important, especially our Industrial Estate are inside bonded zone area where many MNCs have their manufacturing operation there. Therefore, we have conducted series of English course for students and people around our industrial estate area.
Medical
We focus our efforts to improve medical facilities in Bintan by providing medical and dental services to the villages within its vicinity periodically.
Religious
During Moslem's fasting month, we organize breaking fast and praying together among our staff, local authority and representative from local society. We also contribute rice, instant noodle and goat ("sacrificed animals") to mosques as well as churches in Batam and Bintan.
Other Social Activities
We also participate in other social activities such as:
- Blood donation; This event is our effort to help to meet the needs of the patients where the blood stocks at the hospitals is running low
- Donation in kind; We provide food and supplies to the local communities affected by earthquake, landslides and flooding in Indonesia
- Workshops and programs; We conduct various programs and workshops to equip the local communities with the technical knowledge and skills to create avenues for the beneficiaries to increase their income to support them in the long run
- Development of infrastructures and facilities; We help to build mosques, school, infrastructure, etc for the development of Batam and Bintan
- Environment awareness; We organize monthly environment day to raise awareness of the employees to take initiative to clean up and protect the island
